Summary:
Seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee the safe and compliant shutdown of a manufacturing facility.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as an EHS Lead/Manager Recent experience in the manufacturing industry within the last 5 years Preferred experience in the automotive industry Preferred experience with plant shutdowns
Job Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive shutdown plan including all EHS procedures and risk assessments Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS requirements, conduct orientations and training Oversee the safe decommissioning of equipment and facilities, manage hazardous material disposal Implement site security measures during shutdown, monitor environmental conditions to prevent pollution Document and archive all EHS records ensuring compliance with recordkeeping policies � � � �
