Major responsibilities will include:

Through effective management of front line staff, provide exceptional guest service in a timely and responsive manner, ensure the business is staffed adequately and runs smoothly, and morale is maintained Implement and ensure adherence to operational procedures while utilizing professional practices Supervise internal cash control, cash management, financial records, deposits and payments Monitor and communicate reports, including operating costs, cost of goods, cost of labor and inventory Ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and employees, overseeing quality control, sanitation and maintenance of all museum facilities Plan and implement guest service programs to maximize earned income and guest satisfaction Provide Operational support for special events Manages and direct operational activities and set performance goals accordingly Assists with employee relations related tasks Conduct building walkthroughs to identify and quickly correct safety concerns, security issues, and cosmetic needs with facilities Assist with modifications to the facility, as well as installing new exhibits and graphics Maintain all building exhibits via monthly and weekly preventative maintenance as needed Investigate and resolve item quality and service concerns Makes minor repairs as needed Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Proven Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions Cash-handling experience and basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication Ability to multi-task, work independently, and make reasonable & ethical decisions quickly within a fast-paced environment 2+ years of Operations Management in Guest Services, Retail, and Facilities experience required to allow for optimal success 2+ years of experience supervising/leading a team Previous management experience in an attraction, theme park, or high-volume entertainment venue environment is preferred Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stoop, stand, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
