Facilities & Safety Department Coordinator 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Essex Junction, VT 05452 Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a Facilities and Safety Department Coordinator. The Facilities and Safety Department Coordinator works collaboratively with the Director of Facilities & Safety to create a thriving workplace culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
The position:
Plays a key role in creating communications and maintaining trusting relationships with colleagues, departmental staff, schools, local partners, and the community. Assists the Director by coordinating and performing a variety of executive support functions. Serves as lead trainer and system champion, guides new staff onboarding of systems and practices, and arranges ongoing learning opportunities and training for employees. Develops and provides expertise in the district’s facility use process and collaborates with a team to implement and evaluate the system. Coordinates special projects, tracks and monitors progress and milestones, regularly shares communication with important deadlines and deliverables, gathers data and generates reports for the department to celebrate successes, facilitates conversations about goals and areas of growth. Assists in design and development of the Facilities $11 million budget. Contributes to the primary mission of the EWSD educational environment and district-wide effort to support EWSD Instructional Leadership to preserve instructional leadership time and focus. Positions pays $27.76+ per hour depending on experience. This is a full-time (8 hour/day) 12-month position.
