Material Handler/Forklift Operator Indorama Ventures Mobility Scottsboro SafeTweave 302 Serrano Way, Scottsboro, AL 35769 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The hours are 6:00am-6:00pm. Responsibilities Operate forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse. Inspect incoming product for damage, perform dock audits to confirm all shipments are correct, including labels, identification tape, etc., properly weigh and dispose of waste. Perform heavy lifting as required. Assist in loading and unloading shipments while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Ability to understand and differentiate customer specific product. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Participate in regular safety training sessions and follow all company policies regarding safety practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with operating various material handling equipment, including cranes and pallet jacks. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety practices. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
