Job Title:

Quality Forklift Driver Position Summary A Forklift Operator is a certified warehouse or manufacturing associate responsible for controlling heavy machinery to move materials around a work site. Their duties include preparing the goods and securing them for safe and easy transportation. Communicate with team leaders to prioritize tasks and perform regular machine maintenance for forklifts and must use a plex system to track items being moved & inspected.

Adheres and comply to all safety policies and procedures 5S, clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment Consistently meets company safety goals Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently within tight work areas Understands First In First Out (FIFO) Process & Organize storage area by F.I.F.O Understands importance of maintaining 3C5S in product storage areas Demonstrates ability to work with Team Leaders and Supervisors to meet job requirements Do daily inspection on lift truck equipment and report all issues. Place returned dunnage containers into proper area Remove old labels from returned dunnage Scan, check, and labeling all containers per every load Matching Finish Good label with parts in container Clean and organize area when needed support inspection in down time Skills and qualifications Ability to read and understand packaging, inspection documents, and safety guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of OSHA’s workplace health and safety programs Ability to perform basic math & plex system Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
