Forklift Operator One Solutions LLC Shorter, AL 36075 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Safely transport products throughout the warehouse while adhering to OSHA regulations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and address any operational issues. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts, with certification preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and machinery. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties. Experience in shipping and receiving processes, with familiarity in warehouse management systems. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse practices. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
