Forklift Driver/Material Handler CNC Enterprises Inc 2555 Fairlane Drive, Montgomery, AL 36116 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff. Duties Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of inventory. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed. Participate in training sessions on warehouse management systems and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations related to material handling. Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management. Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment, including cranes and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) as needed. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
