Forklift Operator Position Available In Montgomery, Alabama

Position Summary:

Join a dynamic team as a DC Associate, where you’ll play a crucial role in receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. This position involves verifying inventory quantities, maintaining accurate paperwork, and operating warehouse equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Mark pallets with identifying store information.
Use lift equipment (manual pallet jack or forklift) after training and certification.
Pick and stage parts for store replenishment.
Operate a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner).
Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
Perform basic math accurately.

Shift Requirements:

Commitment to full scheduled shifts.
Flexibility to assist on other shifts is a plus.
Required overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be requested with little notice.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or stoop.
Occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds (heavier items with assistance).

Work Environment:

Bending/stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve products.
Standing/walking for extended periods.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklifts.
High noise levels at times.

Additional Information:

Clean attire required: well-fitted waist-high jeans, clean shirt/sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar writing/images.
Required overtime may be requested with little notice, including holidays and weekends.

Pay Details:

$16.70 per hour
