The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques. Move materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers for quality assurance checks. Assist in fabrication processes using stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC machinery, and plasma cutting as needed. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with stamping presses, precision measuring instruments, press brake machines, CNC machining, and plasma cutting is a plus. Basic math skills for inventory management and measurement tasks. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
