Forklift Operator Position Available In Duval, Florida

We are currently in search of a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our growing team in our Distribution Center located in Jacksonville! Your responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety in the industry. We are looking for a successful candidate that will possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge. This position will pay $22.10/hour and work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Job Summary + Operate forklift equipment, cherry pickers, high reach equipment safely and effectively; maintain equipment and report malfunctions. + Perform warehouse duties including receiving and locating product within the RF scanner technology. + Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight ensuring that warehouse goals are met. + Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met. + Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets. + Load/unload trucks. + Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols. + Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis. + Cycle Counts & Stock Replenishment. Requirements + High school degree or equivalent. + Proven work experience safely operating forklifts, cherry picker and high reach equipment. + Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day. + Ability to use RF technology. + Comfortable using a harness and line yard, as well as comfortable with heights + Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred. Solid work history/tenure vs. job hopping is required. + Good interpersonal skills; work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times. + Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift. + Able to read and write in English. + Steel toed shoes/boots are required. + Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
