We have an immediate opportunity for a high caliber Associate who has passion and ambition to drive results.

The Job:

Responsible for daily picking/pulling and storing all inventory, and loading and unloading trucks and warehouse pallets and on roll stock paper board and finished goods safely, accurately and efficiently; recording movement of inventory accurately.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensure that materials are handled safely and efficiently and in a way to ensure quality and appropriate inventory levels by o Unloading inbound materials and report to either Shipping Lead or Department Manager.

o Transferring loads in warehouse when required using bar code reader. o Loading trucks and record with bar code reader. o Operating forklift as needed. o Assisting Inventory Administrator on inventory checks.

  • Ensure that equipment operate effectively and efficiently with no shrinkage by o Monitoring the inventory and usage of pallets. o Warehousing pallets/rolls and recording location with bar code reader. o Performing routine and preventive maintenance on fork trucks.
  • Ensure that hazardous materials are handled safely and correctly by o Placing improperly stored hazardous waste drums into the Accumulation room.

o In the event of a hazardous waste chemical spill, containing the area of contamination with the use of absorption socks and blankets. Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, OSHA, etc. to ensure a safe, secure working environment that meets the company’s goals and achieves customer satisfaction. The Successful Candidate must have the following experience: Able to operate a RF unit or computer

  • Able to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of basic accounting especially as it relates to inventory and movement of inventory
  • Able to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Verbal communication skills

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year of experience in a shipping department
  • 1 year of experience operating a forklift
