Sit Down Forklift Operators – $15/hr 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Ocala, FL 34474 Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations. Shifts are Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm with mandatory overtime sometimes on Fridays. The position begins on Monday, May 19th. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Utilize pallet jacks and clamp trucks for moving products within the warehouse. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve workflow. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and protocols while performing all tasks. Assist in training new employees on safe equipment operation and warehouse procedures. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Experience with order picking processes and RF scanning technology. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment under minimal supervision.
