We’re seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client’s team and contribute to the movement of materials, ensuring that manufacturing lines run efficiently. Your expertise in operating forklifts and handling inventory will be critical to maintaining the flow of production and meeting production goals. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials, goods, and supplies, ensuring proper stacking and storage to prevent damage. Transport materials between storage and production areas. Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure workplace environment. Keep accurate records of inventory movements and material handling activities. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials to the required areas. Assist with inventory counts and organization of the warehouse. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in handling areas. Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar setting. Technical Skills Proficient in the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Knowledge of basic forklift maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking. Qualifications Bilingual preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift operator certification is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Awareness of safety protocols and procedures in material handling. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require prolonged standing or sitting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
