The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our shipping and receiving processes run smoothly while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, to load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management and order picking. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all products are correctly documented and stored. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in building pallets and preparing orders for shipment. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations. Strong understanding of safety regulations, particularly OSHA standards. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
