The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers, order pickers, and clamp trucks, to move materials and products safely within the warehouse. Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and storage racks while ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist with order picking processes. Build and organize pallets for shipment according to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular checks and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and efficient workflow. Skills Proficient in operating various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks. Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of order picking processes and inventory management systems. Ability to effectively use RF scanners for tracking inventory. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
