Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. This position involves operating a sit-down 155 10-ton forklift and requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment. Responsibilities Operate sit-down 155 10-ton forklift. Load bags of rocks, cement blocks, and other products throughout the yard. Get on and off the forklift to handle and move products as needed. Essential Skills Experience in forklift operating. Ability to lift 75+ lbs. Strong work ethic and reliability. Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction experience preferred. Work Environment This is a 3rd shift position (8pm-4am, M-F) with initial training on the 1st shift (4am-12pm). The work environment is a dusty, dirty, and hot block plant, where you will spend the entire day in the sun, getting on and off the forklift and loading blocks. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 – $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
