Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with local deliveries as a backup/second driver for our box truck. Forklift experience is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Unload, sort, and organize products in designated storage areas. Pick and pack orders accurately according to specifications. Prepare orders for shipping by labeling, packing, and arranging for carrier pickup. Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure that the warehouse is organized and clean, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Assist in cycle counting and regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. Serve as a backup/second driver for the company box truck for local deliveries as needed. Help load and unload delivery trucks and ensure timely delivery of goods Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles when driving. Communicate and coordinate with team members and other departments to fulfill orders and address any issues. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality and accuracy. Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift experience is required ; certification is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ; box truck driving experience is a plus. Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and maneuver heavy objects. Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ability to drive and assist with deliveries in a box truck when required.
