Your Role You will report to a Supervisor and move product throughout the site and load or unload materials using a reach truck, sit-down forklift, or other heavy material handling equipment. You will work Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, and will be paid weekly at $18.50 per hour. Your Responsibilities The use of forklifts, hand trucks and electric equipment as required. Inspecting and signing off on equipment prior to use. Loading and unloading of material and tooling. Maintaining records (e.g. delivery log, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities. May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution. Verify and receive materials into inventory. Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted. Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage. Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit. May also include palletizing and shrink-wrap. Duties may include receiving, checking and storing. Works from pick sheet to pull product or supplies. Check orders against pull sheets. “Dangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse. Understand and adhere to local,State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies. Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s). If/when applicable, ‘bonded’ cargo must be processed and handled accordingly, based on existing guidelines for this type of shipment. Deliver high level of service to customers. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Meet all safety requirements. Ability to work in a shared work area. Continuous Improvement.
