Forklift Operator/Machine Operator 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Clearwater, FL 33760 We are expanding our operations and urgently seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Forklift/Machine Operator to join our team! Our ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of manufacturing and a commitment to quality and safety standards as you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products, ensuring final production runs efficiently. We are seeking someone who has manufacturing or machine operation experience. Direct press machine or coil machine operation is a plus, but not required. We offer onsite cross training. Candidate must have strong forklift operation experience.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 5:30pm – 4:00pm Overtime offered based on production needs.
Responsibilities :
Set up and operate machinery to precisely trim excess material. Ability to process orders in computer system Check and verify proper materials for the work order. Assist with loading material on and off the machine. Ensuring consistent quality and dimensions by monitoring the machine. Performing quality checks on all finished product while adhering to safety protocols and production standards. Notify a supervisor immediately of any damages, or failed inspections. Operate forklift to pull materials for operation, or distribute finished products. Skills Competence in machine operation and manufacturing principles. Data entry experience – order processing Proficient in basic math skills and measuring devices for measurements. Experience in quality inspection techniques to ensure product integrity. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. At least 2 years of forklift experience. Ability to stand for majority of shift, bend, push, pull, twist, overhead lift up to 50 lbs. in a non climate controlled environment.
Pay rate:
$18.00 per hour. Weekly pay. Employees can receive an additional dollar increase after 3 month probationary period, and we offer full benefits package!
