The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, clamp truck, and other material handling equipment to efficiently move products and materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Move products within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement for efficient shipping and receiving. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist in order picking processes. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist with materials handling tasks, including organizing stock and preparing shipments for delivery. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to warehouse operations and equipment handling. Assist with production when necessary Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting. Must have a consistent work history, no job hoppers Familiarity with various types of material handling equipment, including cranes, order pickers, and RF scanners. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment. Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and pallet jacks. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for effective inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
