This position could lead to a supervisor role for the right candidate that shows the necessary potential and applies themselves. There is plenty of room for growth at our company. A warehouse forklift operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operations of our moving company’s warehouse. As a forklift operator, your primary responsibility will be to safely and accurately move, stack, and store materials using a forklift or other machinery as needed. The warehouse personnel is also responsible for day to day activities as needed in the warehouse. This can include, heavy lifting, inventory control, checking off shipments, cleaning the warehouse when needed and assisting loading and unloading trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the warehouse. Load and unload materials from trucks or containers, ensuring proper handling and storage. Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Labor Function Highlight:

The labor function of this role emphasizes physical activities such as heavy lifting, moving materials manually if needed, and being on your feet for extended periods. The forklift operator will be required to work in various conditions and may need to assist with general labor tasks in the warehouse as required.
