Warehouse Forklift Operator | Lumber warehouse (2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm) 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 7270 Bridgewater Center Drive, Lakeland, FL 33805 We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator experienced in loading heavy loads on and off flatbed trailers. The ideal candidate should have strong forklift operation skills and a focus on safety. If you have a proven track record in this area, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for Forklift Operators for our warehouse located in Lakeland, FL. Monday – Friday, 2nd shift (3pm – 11:30pm), full benefits after 60 days, paid holidays!

Pay:

$18/hour Forklift Operator will be responsible for: Operate a Forklift to move products and pallets safely throughout warehouse Ensure orders are accurate and communicate any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor Stage and place orders on trailer to best utilize space and maintain proper weight distribution throughout trailer for drivers to deliver product Ensures company documentation of loading trailer is accurate and complete Secures or assists in securing the loads onto the trailers and the closing of the curtains. Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operate a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo May assist in keeping floors clean and dry with use of floor scrubber Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Effectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights Experience with operating a forklift with rate rating of 6,500 pounds Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
