! Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator (SLIDING FORKS)to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations while adhering to safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate forklifts (SLIDING FORKS), pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to transport materials within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking product movements and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely completion of shipping and receiving tasks. Follow OSHA safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Skills Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. Familiarity with order picking processes and distribution center operations. Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
