The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. Duties Operate forklifts, including Hi-Lo and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas. Perform routine inspections on lift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition. Utilize order pickers for accurate retrieval of items as per order specifications. Maintain an organized warehouse environment by following proper storage procedures. Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting, including heavy lifting capabilities. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of safety standards, particularly OSHA regulations related to forklift operation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
