The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. Execute order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Maintain an organized and clean work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and productivity. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as required. Experience with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
