Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in our warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment
• Transport materials to designated areas in the warehouse
• Stack and organize products in the warehouse
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Skills:

• Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift
• Experience with order picking using a forklift or other equipment
• Ability to safely operate various types of forklifts such as clamp trucks and order pickers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
