Forklift Operator Job Description/Requirements:

We are looking for technically candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of forklift operator. Forklift Operator are responsible for optimizing to move, locate, relocate, stack, load and unload materials and count merchandise.

Duties and Responsibilities Receiving/Put-Away:

Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Some work will be stacking boxes/items without the use of forklift.

Quality:

Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality and quantity variances.

Order Picking:

Pull and prepare product for shipment, or to be placed in work areas such as cooler If for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.

Loading:

Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers. Check the trailer prior to loading for roof leaks and holes in the floor and/or damaged walls.

Equipment:

Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat and orderly. On a daily basis, inspect and document all deficiencies on the pre

• check list.

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work method.

Safety, Sanitation, Security:

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA Standards. Requirements and qualifications

• High school diploma required or GED.
• Dependability / punctuality
• Detail oriented
• Math skill
• Attention to detail
• Experience working in a manufacturing
• Experience three years’ operating an electric sit-down rider forklift
• Ability to perform routine task.

Shift/Hours:

Monday thru Saturday or Sunday 40 hours per week.

Starting pay rate/yearly salary:
