The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment to move materials and products within our warehouse or distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate cranes and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate the movement of goods within the facility. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and order picking processes. Assist in loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or cherry pickers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically crane operation. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including order picking and distribution center processes. Experience with pallet jacks, clamp trucks, RF scanners, and cherry pickers is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with supervisors and team members. Certification or training in crane operation is preferred but not mandatory.
