Department Overview:

The Shipping & Receiving material handler is responsible for loading and unloading all inbound and out bound shipments. Staging coils & paint drums in racks & floor areas.

Job Duties:

Unload and record receipt of First American Resources owned metal, perform ISO inspection process, and stage metal in secure area within warehouse. Unload and record receipt of all paint according to ISO procedure. Unload and record receipt of customer owned metal and all other inbound shipments and stage in secure area within warehouse. Pull, stage, load, and record all outbound shipments, including but not limited to finished goods, hazardous materials, returns, etc. and documents the log of such actions. Maintain warehouse storage areas in a secure and orderly manner. Coordinate with the Shipping& Receiving Supervisor to receive daily shipping and receiving priorities and develop a daily schedule. Provide training and guidance with special shipments and related procedures to new associates.
