Distributions LLC Doraville, GA 30340 Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial in ensuring that products are loaded, unloaded, and organized effectively, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. Duties Operate Stand up forklifts and clamp trucks to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Move materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. Experience Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety. Experience with materials handling, shipping, receiving, and order picking processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of crane operation is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence in task execution. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in inventory management.
