Job Summary We are seeking a disciplined and steady Material Handler/Forklift Operator who is ready to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Working at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work to meet standards is very important to this role. This job is focused on repetitive tasks and job routines to help keep the plant operations moving. A detail-oriented approach is required to be successful.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment
• Delivering and moving materials to work centers that allow for parts to be manufactured
• Loading/unloading materials from freight carriers as needed
• Preparing packaging materials to support the manufacturing of parts
• Entering required information into company computer system

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year of forklift operation in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 9 hour shifts Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM 5-hour shift on Friday – 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Overtime as needed.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) But not required

Experience:

• Manufacturing environment: 1 years (Required)
