Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Forklift Operator Electronic Maintenance Associates, Inc. 2915 Courtyards Drive, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, managing the flow of goods in and out, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. EMA is small, family owned business with a pleasant working environment. We are not a distribution facility, but ship and receive large, variable frequency drives on a regular basis. Duties Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them accurately. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Operate a forklift. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes. Qualifications Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
