Job Description
Position Summary:
Operate stand-up forklifts or Sit-down Forklift and use scanners to manage material transfers in the AS400 system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely pick and deliver Kanban parts.
- Conduct daily inspections and operate powered equipment (tuggers, forklifts).
- Use scanners for inventory management and bin moves.
- Conduct audits for the Kanban system.
- Follow safety policies and maintain a compliant workspace (5S).
- Support ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001
standards.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Essential Skills and Experience
- Basic English competency.
- Self-starter with minimal oversight.
- Must obtain and maintain certification for powered industrial vehicles within 30 days.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Must have experience operating powered industrial stand up forklift equipment.
Working Conditions:
Must handle extreme temperatures, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
