Position Overview:
The Turret Truck Operator is responsible for various warehouse operations, including put-away, replenishment, picking, and inventory control within the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) sections. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Complete turret operator training and evaluations. Conduct pre-flight inspections of equipment. Report safety concerns promptly. Maintain records to meet performance expectations. Assist with physical inventory and report discrepancies. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to Kubota safety policies and procedures. Use scanning technology for inventory management. Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S compliance). Support ISO requirements and perform special projects as needed.
Essential Skills and Experiences:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Warehouse experience with powered equipment (Raymond equipment preferred). Prior experience operating turret forklifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for long periods. Tolerance for heights up to 40 feet.
