Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our delivery team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials for delivery. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial in maintaining a smooth and productive workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the yard
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items
• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements
• Inspect and maintain the forklift, reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking orders and organizing inventory

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
• Valid forklift certification or license
• Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and calculations
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
