Reach Truck Operator Flexible Staffing Crandall, GA 30711 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to move products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist in order picking processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs. Experience Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as order picking techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to material handling equipment. Experience operating cranes or other heavy machinery is a plus.
