The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload products within our warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations in our shipping and receiving processes, particularly in an e-commerce environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing order fulfillment processes. Assist with order picking and packing to meet customer demands accurately and timely. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving operations. Skills Proficiency in basic math for inventory management and order accuracy. Experience with e-commerce operations is a plus. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements. Familiarity with pallet jacks and RF scanners for efficient material handling. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
