Stacker 1st shift 4am-2:30pm G M Wood Products 1159 Meadowbrook Dr, Eastanollee, GA 30538 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stacker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that products are stacked and organized properly for shipping and storage. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Duties Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move products safely within the warehouse. Stack products efficiently and securely to optimize space and ensure safety during transportation. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist in order picking processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with OSHA standards. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when necessary. Skills Experience working in a distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Understanding of OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
