Job Summary:

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods between our warehouse and various delivery points. This role involves loading and unloading goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of shipments. The Warehouse Driver will also assist with general warehouse duties when not driving.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to and from specified destinations. Load and unload goods in a safe and organized manner. Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures from recipients. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Follow all applicable traffic laws and company safety regulations. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory management, when not driving. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant activities. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid [State] driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Basic computer skills for inventory and delivery tracking.

Work Environment:

Work is performed both in a warehouse setting and on the road. Must be able to lift and move objects up to [weight limit] pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
