Full Job Description Overview:

As a Forklift Operator – Pallet Sorter is responsible for Heavy Lifting by hand sorting pallets to grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed from pallets prior to returning to customer. When using a forklift the Operator moves pallets and other materials through warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift is 50% Pallet Sorting by hand is 50% This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$16.00/hr. Shift(s): 1st shift : Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm

What You’ll Do:

Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma or GED Forklift certification preferred 1-3 years of forklift experience Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment Ability to communicate effectively Willing to work overtime as needed
