experience Combilift a Plus (not a forklift-only position), JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition. Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed properly. Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse Ensure Safety Protocols and Procedures are followed and maintain safe storage in all racking. Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management Properly pull, stage, pack and load outgoing deliveries and transfers, ensuring product is not damaged in the process. Load and secure trucks by DOT, ensuring safe transportation of goods that does not damage product. Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standards Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse and workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse Experience using a forklift is required and professional forklift certification is preferred. Combilift a Plus! Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Ability to work a somewhat variable shift based on workload each day. Ability to work in extreme temperatures based on weather changes.
