2nd shift forklift operator EdgeStone Staffing Northborough, MA 01532 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to safely move, lift, and stack materials. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining safety standards since we are handling heavy building products. Mon – Friday. 2nd shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm Picking orders inside and outside and loading trucks outside in all elements. Sit down forklift operator with experience. $20 Schedule-Monday through Friday; 2 pm to 10:30 pm Duties Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and pallet jacks, to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Build and stack pallets according to company standards to ensure safe transportation. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while operating heavy equipment. Assist with materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading shipments. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. Stand up and sit-down forklifts utilized. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience with both forklifts. Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of order picking processes and materials handling techniques. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting tasks as required (up to 50 pounds). Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
