This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations. Duties Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Move products to designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement for easy access. Perform order picking tasks, accurately selecting items based on shipping orders. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Skills Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively. Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Proficient in loading, unloading, and order picking processes. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is preferred.
