Job description Forklift operator would place barcodes on products being loaded onto trailer and scan the barcode to the trailer being loaded. The operator will close the trailer with the scanner to produce a BOL of product loaded. The operator will also offload trailers for restocking packaging area. The operator will be responsible for transporting the product in a safe manner as to not damage any material. Responsibilities Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items Transporting materials to different locations within the warehouse Securing loads Daily Forklift Inspections Identifying workplace safety hazards Following all safety rules and regulations Accuracy with picking and pulling orders Scanning product correctly for product moves within warehouse, inbounds and outbounds Communicating with supervisors Inspecting for damage to vehicles

• Skills Proven experience as a forklift operator Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Two-year experience on a forklift Good organizational skills Attention to detail Excellent hand-eye coordination Basic mathematical skills Good written and verbal communication Familiarity with chemicals and Safety Data Sheets is a plus Reliable
• Excellent attendance is a must Quality and safety
• Do it right the first time / learn from mistakes/ keep yourself and fellow workers safe Urgency
• complete assigned tasks within expectations / communicate with leaders if expected timeline is not feasible and for next assignments Familiarity with scanning First Aid familiarity is a plus

The first interview will be conducted via email and if proves to be a fit for both the applicant and the company a secondary in-person interview will be conducted along with a forklift evaluation/skills test.
