B, C Hours:

B 5:30pm-5:30am Tuesday-Friday, C 6am-6pm Friday/Saturday 6am Sunday-Monday 5:30pm This union automotive manufacturing company needs experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operators in the North Kansas City area. Must be OK with working up to 12-hour shifts. B or C shift hours are available. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate a sit-down forklift and drive in and out of multiple warehouse settings safely
• Obtain forklift license and certification from the company on first day on sit-down forklift
• Operate Hilo truck
• Move merchandise to storage, properly documenting locations and/or scanning locations and product
• Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures
• Work with other associates to set up machine and stack, pack, mark, and transport finished items
• Maintain clean and orderly work area

Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Forklift experience
• Experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus
• Previous exposure to warehouse environment preferred
• Regularly lift up to 35lbs
• Sit or stand for entire shift
• Reach and grab with hands and arms
• Grasp steering wheel and controls for the entire shift
• Stoop, bend, and kneel as needed
• Accuracy and attention to detail
