Job description The forklift operator would float between different warehouses assisting with daily assignments to ensure accuracy and efficiency of order pulling, inbound check in, order shipping and inventory counts within the facility. The Operators would need to be able to work both in a team setting and on their own. Responsibilities Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items Transporting materials to different locations within warehouse Securing loads Daily Forklift Inspections Identifying workplace safety hazards Following all safety rules and regulations Accuracy with picking and pulling orders Scanning product correctly for product moves within warehouse, inbounds and outbounds Communicating with Customer Service representatives Inspecting for damage to vehicles Picking and wrapping orders for shipping Skills Proven experience as a forklift operator Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Two-year experience on an electric sit-down forklift Good organizational skills Attention to detail Excellent hand-eye coordination Basic mathematical skills Good written and verbal communication Familiarity with food grade product requirements is a plus Familiarity with chemicals and Safety Data Sheets is a plus Reliable

8-Hour shift Monday through Friday Overtime may be mandatory at various times of the year Interview Interviews are conducted in a two-step process. The first interview will be conducted via email and if proves to be a fit for both the applicant and the company a secondary in-person interview will be conducted along with a forklift evaluation/skills test.
