Forklift Operator/Warehouse Columbia Block and Brick 6686 U S Highway 98, Hattiesburg, MS 39402 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team on a fast-paced brick yard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse as well as loading and unloading trucks. This role is crucial in ensuring that products are handled safely and accurately, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Duties Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas. Accurately load trucks for deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals. Assemble furniture. Local furniture/small load deliveries. Requirements Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be on time and committed to showing up to work daily.
