Forklift Operator (part of WM) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 8829 Rocky River Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075 Full-Time Opportunity with Tarheel Bark in Harrisburg, NC! Tarheel Bark, a division of Garick LLC, is looking for a Forklift Operator at our mulch, soil and composting plant in Harrisburg, NC.
Job duties include:
Operates forklift to move materials and product as needed. Loading and unloading of trucks in an outdoor environment. Works as a part of the manufacturing team. Follows directions of supervisor to meet production goals. Obeys all safety standards and practices. Responsible for the maintenance of the assigned equipment. Other tasks as assigned. Full time hours with paid overtime as needed – 35 to 45 hours most weeks. Pay starts at $17/hour and is commensurate with experience. Forklift certification is preferred, but NOT required. Onsite training will be provided if the hire has no forklift experience. Position requires the ability to sit, stand and walk for the duration of the shift without any physical restrictions. All staff must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
