$31.3K – $35.7K a year 16 hours ago Qualifications Forklift High school diploma or GED Computer skills 1 year Manufacturing Entry level Full Job Description Warehouse Forklift Operator-Job Description Prime Beverage Group is looking for a team-oriented and passionate Forklift Operator with the ability to carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with the company policies. The right candidate will take pride in contributing to our continued growth and expansion initiatives as part of the team. This is a full’time, hourly position that reports to the Warehouse Manager. Position Responsibilities Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving materials. Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, or merchandise. Transport materials as directed, throughout the facility. Utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory. Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment. This would include looking in the direction of travel, driving at an appropriate speed, and appropriate use of the horn as examples. Sweep and clean area, including trailers, as needed. Operate other mechanical devices and/or other controls that operate lifting devices. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Basic mathematical abilities. Able to perform repetitive job functions, hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to stand the majority of the workday. Must be able to work flexible work schedule. Ability to drive forklift trucks. Knowledge of the safety procedures regarding the use of forklift trucks. Basic computer skills. Willingness to work shifts / flexible hours. At least one year forklift operator experience. Ability to successfully complete Prime Beverage Forklift certification. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Able to assist with other sites when needed to help company achieve it’s goals. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 2-year forklift operator experience. At least one year’s experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience utilizing scanner equipment. Experience with inventory and warehouse software, databases, and systems, preferred.
