⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Warehouse/Driver (non CDL) (Fayetteville) Performance Battery Sales LLC 544 Person St  compensation: $15 per hour employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Warehouse/Driver (non CDL) We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker & Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including materials handling and equipment operation, and will be committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including 20-foot Box truck, forklift and pallet jacks, to move products safely and efficiently. You will be loading/unloading a Battery truck with new and used Batteries, loading and unloading by hand and with power jack.
• Assist in heavy lifting and the handling of materials to ensure timely distribution, must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. This position will interact directly with our Store Manager and/or other store personnel as well as our customer client base, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional customer service.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs, report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist in organizing stock within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage materials effectively.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
• Commercial driver license and clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic.
